What preventive dentistry covers
Professional cleanings remove plaque and buildup that brushing and flossing can’t always reach. During your exam, we evaluate your teeth, bite, and gums and perform an oral cancer screening. Your dentist will review the findings with you, and whether treatment or continued monitoring is recommended.
At Tomlinson Dental, CariVu light-based cavity detection and digital imaging give us additional insight when evaluating your teeth. We use these findings to help plan your care, explain what we’re seeing, and answer your questions along the way.
