Dental Care for Neighbors in Need

Community Smiles brings our dental team together with local partners to help Tampa Bay residents who may need support accessing dental care.

Through these outreach events, we’ve provided complimentary cleanings, limited exams, and extractions. The video offers a closer look at the program, the people we serve, and the team members and partners who help make it possible.

A Commitment to Community Service

Community service has long been an important part of Dr. Angella Tomlinson’s life, including dental mission trips to her native Jamaica. Wanting to continue that spirit of service here in Tampa, she joined Dr. Gail McDonald-Chang and Dr. Lorraine Tomlinson to establish Holiday Smiles, the outreach event that has since grown into Community Smiles.

Juneteenth 5K Community Walk/Run

Our team joined the community to celebrate freedom, unity, and health at the Juneteenth 5K Community Walk/Run.

Community Garage Sale

August 26, 2023

The garage sale was organized to raise funds for smile makeovers for Tampa residents experiencing homelessness. Remaining clothing and shoes were intended for donation to the City of Tampa for distribution.
