12/30/2025 The service was exceptional, however they no longer take insurances and they waited until after the service (cleaning) to inform me of that. I paid $211 out of pocket for a cleaning. I am waiting to see how much Aetna will reimburse me directly since they are now out of Network. Moving forward, when you go for a visit at Tomilison Dental, make sure you have a pocket full of money. Janis Stewart Google

12/15/2025 My new patient visit at Tomlinson Dental was amazing. Staff were very pleasant and friendly; making sure to speak to every patient in the waiting room as each one of them came back in from lunch. Millie was my dental assistant and she was very gentle and sweet. Dr. McDonald made sure to explain in detail about my oral care and answer any questions I had. 12/04/2025 Never go to a dentist out of network that you dont know. I realized later that the doctor was ready to cover up my issue because my bridge was moving. She claimed would not know what was wrong until she cut the bridge off. I went along because I thought that was the only way. I realized later that the bridge was just loose and worn out from the years. The doctor failed to diagnose the issue with the tooth under the bridge. I was not feeling well on several times that I went there and the tooth was not ready as promised and this ordeal was over a month. I had pain and wanted the tooth out since covering it up would mean a problem later on. The tooth that was made was not delivered on time and I missed work and had to go back at a later time. The doctor should have tried everything before allowing me to have the tooth pulled. I never went to a place and came out looking worse than when I went in. I also was never snatched up during an x ray to see what I qualify for financially. That was an aggressive move by the doctor. I hadn't gone to a dentist or dentists in a long time and forgot how money driven the women in a dentist office are. They make 2000.00 per tooth so they are quick to write a bill that benefits them and not offer a patient better options. I should have been given better advice here and the problem tooth should have been examined and not allow me to have it pulled until a thorough exam was done. I now had to go and correct the problem at another dentist office. There was also no followup to see how I was doing. Be careful with these dentists that dont fully explain what is going on with a tooth since they are busy writing themselves a check. When you dont deal with dentists often make sure they explain everything and diagnose and give you the options and benefits etc. Willie Murphy Google
